DNA mania in Science World: Arsenic vs Phosphorus

Okay, so this one's FOR the Geniuses (this IS a link, click it- or read below for a sum up)

So, for years and years and years and years we have thought that essentially phosphorus was the only nutrient base for DNA, but that's not true, Arsenic was found to have replaced it in some bacteria in California! Apparently this means that there very well may be other lifeforms in outer space! KEWL!



By the way, you can tell by how passionate the woman who is speaking for the science panel that she's a true Genius!
