The Hierarchy of Wit

Basic Principles of the Hierarchy
- The only direction that a person can move in on the pyramid is up, there are exceptions and the only ways to recede are :
- A strike to the head causing memory loss or amnesia.
- The attainment of craziness plus a gradual return to Naïve due to old age .
- Once a person reaches the point of Genius; they can chose to use their wit either for Brilliance or Stupidity.
Our Definitions of the Elements (Stages) in the Hierarchy
Naïve: Those who simply do not know and have no idea of a single subject in any matter discussed. This area typically includes newborn infants and toddlers (ages 0-3). They are innocent of any foul actions because they lack even the simplest knowledge.
Ignorant: Those who have a basic idea of things, but lack a thorough education on matters discussed. People who are in this are generally are in elementary school or just entering middle school (ages 4-11). People in this stage are not to be blamed for matters they have no been taught, they still lack knowledge of many things.
Genius: This is a very important stage that can begin earlier in some than others, it is acquired through a specialization on a subject or subjects of interest. A genius may be well rounded and know essentially a little bit of everything, however they may simply have chosen to focus their intelligence on a single or very few matters. The ages of these people are varied but are most commonly attained by people ages 12-25. Once Genius is obtained, the person can chose to use their intelligence to guide themselves towards either Brilliance or Stupidity. People in this stage CAN be held accountable for their actions because they will be fully aware of what they have done.
Brilliant: People who are brilliant have chosen the "Road less traveled" per say. They have decided to use their wit and intelligence for the betterment of society and their surroundings. However their is a looming side-effect to their wit, and it's related to the fact that having this trait is inherently tied to stupidity but a hint of craziness. Many times people who are brilliant are drawn to craziness by their often fanatical behavior towards their passions. This can be reached at any point after obtaining Genius.
Stupid: Those who are Stupid decide not to use their genius at all, or to use it in either a destructive or self-deteriorating manner. There are unfortunately many of these people in our world, and it is inevitable to change this fact. People who are stupid are also inherently tied to craziness in an even stronger way than brilliance. These people are even quicker drawn to Crazy than those who are brilliant. The instability of their actions is the major cause for this tendency. This can also be obtained at any point after reaching the stage of Genius.
Crazy: This is the final step in the hierarchy typically a trait in people of old age, although it can happen to almost anyone at the point of Genius, Brilliance or Stupidity. People in this stage have become overly passionate for their goals and rant and rave about meaningless subjects. Not all people of old age are at this stage, many stay in either the stage of brilliance or stupidity depending on which their choice was. Crazy people don't necessarily belong in an asylum, but it must be understood that many of the choices they make will not be correct because of a learned set of values that have marked their identity. This stage is to be avoided at all cost, because it tends to end in misery.
